Concurrency explains how to write applications that perform multiple tasks simultaneously. The Java platform is designed from the ground up to support concurrent programming, with Java SE Lessons basic concurrency support in the Java programming language and the Java class libraries. Since version 5.0, the Java platform has also included high-level concurrency APIs.
Basic I/O covers the Java platform classes used for basic input and output. It focuses primarily on I/O Streams, a powerful concept that greatly simplifies I/O operations. The lesson also looks at Serialization, which lets a program write whole objects out to streams and read them back again. Then the lesson looks at some file system operations, including random access files. Finally, it touches briefly on the advanced features of the New I/O API. suggested learning paths to help you get the most from your Java
learning experience. Step 4.) After complete installation, you need to set up the environment variables. To learn Java, you must have the basic knowledge of C/C++ programming language. If you still have problems, you might have to change your CLASSPATH environment variable. To see if this is necessary, try clobbering the classpath with the following command.
Starting with Java SE 11, you can run a Java application without going through the compilation step, as long as the program is written in a single file. There is technical code in this class that may not be very clear to you. Do not worry; all you need to do is to compile it following the steps described in the previous section. So far your class is empty; there is no executable code in it. If you were able to compile it properly then you can advance to the next step and execute some code. Once you have properly set up your JDK; the JAVA_HOME variable and the PATH variable, you are ready to compile your first class.
